We got frustrated.
So we built something better.

The tools that already existed were either too expensive, too complicated, or both. We think live audience engagement should be accessible to anyone with a room and a question.

The frustration with overpriced engagement tools and the vision for Indaba Pulse

The problem

Pricing that
punishes curiosity.

Tools like Mentimeter and Slido do the job. But features locked behind paywalls and per-seat costs make no sense for a classroom or a one-off workshop.

Our answer

Honest pricing.
No surprises.

Free for small sessions, fair when you scale. No surprise limits, no enterprise sales call required.

The vision

Beyond polling.
Truly interactive rooms.

Any teacher, facilitator, or conference speaker should be able to make their room truly interactive. That’s where we’re headed.

The name

indaba
